2018-2019 Season Accomplishments
Riding Accomplishments
We surpassed a personal record for the team for the most members to qualify for regionals than ever before. Eight our of our twelve riders qualified for regionals:
Selena DiSabatino (open flat)
Julia Neufeld (intermediate flat)
Alexis Thwaites (novice flat)
Alexandra Otto (novice flat)
Paige Conroy (walk trot canter)
Lauren Penland (walk trot)
Rhianna Menapace (walk trot)
Syaira Frenchko (walk trot)
At our last regular show day of the season, novice rider Serena Savitsky was a runner up for Reserve High Point rider for her 1st place in fences class and 2nd place in flat!
Our Vice President and Open Rider, Selena DiSabatino, finished as 12th for high point rider for the open division
The team finished in 9th overall out of 16 teams.
Club Accomplisments
Our Team MVP this year was awarded to our retiring President, Alexandra Otto. She exhibited such hard work and enthusiasm for the teams success!
Our club won “Club of the Year” for our successes with service, on/off campus prestige, and with our riding! We broke the sport club record for most points earned and most community service achieved out of the 12 years it has been running. The campus said they will be using our club is an example for how a club should utilize eagle-link successfully.
Our President, Alexandra Otto, also won “Outstanding Leader of the Year” for her work with the team and Sport Club Council.
Community Accomplishments
We broke the record for the most amount of hours completed by any sport club over the past 12 years the sport club council has been initiated. We had over 300 community service hours with our members with amazing organizations including; Special Equestrians, Paws Crossed, Southwest Florida Horse Rescue, etc.

We had six riders show at regionals this year. (To show at regionals you must point out of your division)
We won 10th in our division for the 2017-2018 year

Our Team MVP this year was awarded to Julia Neufeld for her passion for our barn and horses but also hard work to better the team
Our club won "Most Involved" for the 2017-2018 year. Last year, we won "Most Outstanding Club" both are incredible accomplishments, especially to win two years in a row and we hope to keep the streak going!
Community Accomplishments:
After Hurricane Irma, we volunteered with Southwest Florida Horse Rescue to help restore what the storm hurt! It is such an incredible non profit!
Fall Semester we volunteered with the Adopt-A-Road Program and kept Ben Hill Griffin Clean!
In the spring semester, we volunteered with Special Equestrian's ride-a-thon event. Also an amazing organization
We are always researching ways that we can help our community and environment through service learning!
